Typically, This Person will be working for one of our well-established Luxury yacht building clients on the fit out on the boats, this is predominantly First and second fix fitting of all furniture and bespoke woodwork onto the boat.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Boat builder: 

• Good knowledge of 1st & 2nd Fix
• Able to understand and work from technical drawings
• Confident in installing and assembling bespoke units
• Final fitting of hardware windows, sinks and other parts of the yacht
• Scribe in units, trim & adjust.Work closely together with other trades
• Help lay teak deckingCompetency to work with tight tolerances.
• Seeks to pursue perfection, with a coach able and engaged attitude

Requirements Of the Boat builder:

•  NVQ level 2 / 3 in Boat builder / Carpentry / Joiner or apprentice trained.
• Marine industry knoweldge prefered however a strong bespoke
• Carpentry Background will be considered
