As a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer with expertise in marine electronics. You will be representing a company boasting an extensive portfolio of marine support services, this role is based in Aberdeen. 

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Electrical Engineer/Field Service Engineer:

  • As a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer, your primary role will be to assist the lead service engineer in installing and servicing marine electronics       
  • You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a diverse range of marine equipment, both on board vessels, offshore installations, and within the workshop.     •       Conduct surveys, inspections, and annual performance tests to ensure optimal functionality of equipment.      
  • Travel within the UK and overseas may be required to fulfil job requirements.            

Qualifications and requirement for the Marine Electrical Engineer/Field Service Engineer: 

  • Hold a Electronics qualification, with a preference for HNC/HND      
  • Proficient in satellite communications, GPS navigation, and voyage data recorders    
  • Able to travel to Aberdeen as needed. Possession of a Full UK driver's license.
