Key Responsibilities for the Marine Engineer:

• Provide onsite engineering support to Police Launches and RIBs within Portsmouth Dockyard.
• Maintain and repair vessels to the highest standards, taking responsibility for quality of work.
• Assist with various tasks as required across different trades.
• Occasionally work at Gosport Yards or other UK sites on military vessels.
• Undertake overtime when necessary.
• Complete necessary DBS checks to gain Dockyard access.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for the Marine Engineer:

• Marine Engineering experience with relevant qualifications.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and organisational skills.
• Flexible, practical, and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Prepared to work at sea for short periods.
