The below job description will outline this position of: Security Installation Engineer:

Typically, this person will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of security systems including CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. The role involves both planned installations and reactive call-outs (1 in 5 call-outs), requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. The engineer will work closely with clients to ensure all systems are installed to specification, compliant with relevant regulations, and functioning effectively.

Duties and responsibilities of the Security Installation Engineer:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, access control, and fire alarms
• Conduct site surveys and advise clients on suitable security solutions
• Respond to service call-outs and troubleshoot faults efficiently
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards and safety regulations
• Provide training and support to clients on system operation

Qualifications and requirements for the Security Installation Engineer:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in security systems installation
• Proficient with Hikvision, Honeywell, and Ajax systems
• Experience in CCTV, access control, and fire alarm installation and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach
