Position: Boatbuilder

Rate/Salary: £24p/hour 
Type: Contract.

Key Responsibilities for the Boatbuilder:

•    Good knowledge of 1st & 2nd Fix 
•    Able to understand and work from technical drawings
•    Confident in installing and assembling bespoke units
•    Final fitting of hardware windows, sinks and other parts of the yacht
•    Scribe in units, trim & adjust.
•    Work closely together with other trades 
•    Help lay teak decking if required
•    Competency to work with tight tolerances.
•    Seeks to pursue perfection, with a coach able and engaged attitude

Essential Skills & Qualifications of Boatbuilder:

•    Ideal candidates will have to supply own tools, for this role. 
•    NVQ level 2 / 3 in Boatbuilder / Carpentry / Joiner or apprentice trained.
•    Must have worked within the marine industry.
•    Available for Overtime if required.
