HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter across the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Maritime Shipping, Energy, Subsea and technical engineering sectors. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a well-established organisation within the commercial HVAC and cooling industry.

This is a field-based position carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain and repair commercial and industrial chillers.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Commission and start up HVAC and chiller equipment where required.
• Use technical drawings, specifications and diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Attend customer sites and take ownership of works through to completion.
• Complete service reports and associated technical documentation.
• Identify additional remedial works and equipment requirements.
• Liaise professionally with customers and internal service teams.
• Work safely and in accordance with company and industry procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Chiller Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Service Engineer.
• Strong experience servicing and fault finding on commercial/industrial chillers.
• Good understanding of refrigeration systems, controls and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
• F-Gas qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Package:

• £40,000 – £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
